SCHS Literary Team Places 2nd in State Competition!!
Seminole's Literary Team traveled to Georgia Military School on Saturday, to compete with 28 other schools, to vie for the overall State Title. Seminole came in 2nd, receiving the State Runner-Up trophy.
SCHS had several students place FIRST in the State within their categories:
Caden Kearns placed first in Dramatic Interpretation
David Pollock placed first in Humorous Interpretation
Zaravion Calloway, Jayvione King, David Pollock, and Caden Kearns placed first in Quartet.
SCHS won several Individual State Runner Up Titles, including:
Macy Batchelor, JoBeth Kelley, and Miranda Brannon in Trio
David Pollock and Caden Kearns in Duo Interpretation
Will Pace in International Extemporaneous Speaking
Macy Batchelor and Jayvione King placed 4th in Solo, and Moses James placed 5th in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking.
We are very proud of our Literary Team and their coach(s) as they practiced many hours in representing Seminole the best they could!
