BIG NEWS! Seminole won Region Literary yesterday, winning first place in 9 of the 12 events. In the music categories:
Jayvione King and Macy Batchelor won first in Solo. Macy, Jobeth Kelley and Miranda Brannon won first in Trio; and Jayvione, Zaravion Calloway, David Pollock and Caden Kearns won first place in Quartet.
In the oral interpretation categories:
David Pollock won first place in Humorous, as well as Duo interpretation, and Caden Kearns won first place in Dramatic, as well as Duo interpretation.
In the Extemporaneous Speaking events:
Will Pace won first in International, and Moses James won first place in Domestic.
In the Essay categories:
Jad Deal placed 5th in Argumentative Essay, while Rudra Patel and Will Pace placed first in personal and rhetorical essay.
The team will compete at State, next weekend, at Georgia Military College.
