We are excited to introduce the 2024-2025 Green Machine Marching Band leadership team. Under the direction of Band Director Ms. Chelsea Willis and Assistant Amy Cannon, this team has exciting things in store for next marching season.
Drum Major: Pearson Fields
Pearson has been a dedicated member of The Green Machine for 5 years serving as a band manager for 2 years, a marching saxophone player for 3 years, with 2 of those years as Assistant Drum Major. His work ethic, determination, and attention to detail are just a few of the skills he brings to the band. Pearson has also participated in Legacy Show Choir, Literary, One Act Play, and the ESports Team. We are excited for Pearson to lead The Green Machine as we begin our Marching and Competition season.
Band Captain: Chloe Stewart
Chloe has only been a member of The Green Machine for one season but has been in band for six years. She is an accomplished clarinet player with multiple awards for her outstanding musicianship. Her goal as band captain is to help the band grow closer together and have an amazing show season. We cannot wait to see how Chloe helps our band grow this year.
Majorette Captain: Courtney Cannon
Courtney has been a dedicated member of The Green Machine Marching Band, serving three years as a runner. She is going into her fourth year as a majorette and was last season’s majorette co-captain. Courtney is also a member of National Honor Society, 4-H, and Legacy Show Choir. We look forward to seeing new and exciting routines from the Majorette line this season.
Lady Chiefs Captain: Talyn Lehman
Talyn has been a dedicated member of The Green Machine Marching Band for 6 years. She has served 2 years as a runner and is going on her 4th year as a Lady Chief. Talyn is a member of The National Honors Society, Student Council, and Principal’s Advisory Council. We are excited for Talyn to lead our Lady Chiefs in a new direction this season.
Lady Chiefs Co-Captain: Mattie Grace Hodges
Mattie Grace is a second year member of The Green Machine. Through practice and determination, Mattie Grace achieved the role of Co-captain for the Lady Chief line. Mattie Grace is also a member of The National Honors Society, Legacy show choir, and 4-H. We look forward to Mattie showcasing her commitment and leadership skills within the Band.
