Congratulations to SCHS sophomore Emma Godby on being selected to participate in the 2024 Governor's Honors Program!
Emma will attend the residential program this summer at Georgia Southern University, June 16-July 13. She was nominated in the area of Agricultural Research, Biotechnology, and Science and was selected for the GHP based on her high aptitude and interest in that area through a rigorous application and interview process.
The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program is a residential summer program for skilled, knowledgeable and talented high school sophomores and juniors, and is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
