Congratulations to Mr. Wes Pace for being named Ag Person of the Year at this year’s Farmer Appreciation Lunch, hosted by the Donalsonville Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Pace began his career in education in 2000 at Miller County High School where he spent twelve years teaching agriculture. In 2012, he accepted the Young Farmer position here at Seminole County Middle High School. Since then, he has led the Seminole County Young Farmer Chapter with great success.
In 2017 he was honored with the Georgia Young Farmers Association “Advisor of the Year” award and Seminole County was again recognized as Georgia’s “Outstanding Young Farmer Chapter”. Since 2012, the Seminole County Young Farmers chapter has earned 16 State awards, and four of its members have served as officers on the GYFA Executive Board.
