Seminole County Middle High School is proud to announce that six students completed the application for the Governor's Honors Program. Students are nominated by teachers in a respective area.The Governor’s Honors Program is a residential summer program for high school sophomores and juniors who are selected at the state level. Georgia Southern University will host this year's program. GHP offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom and is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders. It is truly an honor to be nominated for this program. The following students completed the application process:
Heath Baumgardner: Computer Science
Emma Godby: Agricultural Research, Biotechnology, and Science
Drew Hornsby: World Languages in Spanish
Maximus Hunt: Computer Science
MacKena Locke: Visual Arts
Ven’teria McLeroy: Biology
