Last Friday, your Seminole County Indians played against the Monroe Golden Tornadoes. The Indians had to battle the rain and lightning delays. Quon Owens had a pick-six. Marvin Pulley had an interception and returned it for 20 yards. He also had 2 pass break-ups. When asked about the football game, he stated, “We had a lot of mental mistakes, but we have got to focus and get better for the next game.” The final score was 28-7, Monroe. Due to the rain, the Green Machine was unfortunately unable to perform for halftime, but they were still loud and proud in the stands. The Cheerleaders were also loud and proud despite the rain. The Student Section showed out in their neon colors, ready to cheer on the Indians. The next game will be in Crawfordville, Florida on September 15 against the Wakulla County War Eagles. Let’s show them our Indian Pride.
