SCHS Lady Indians Softball Update

Softball Superstars: Fighting for the Win Amid COVID-19 Quarantines

The softball team was going strong until the first day back to school brought a few hiccups. We started school on August 24th and by the 28th most of the team had been sent home due to Covid19 exposure.  We lost not only our starting senior shortstop, Gracen Kirkland, but we also lost many of the new freshmen who are an important part of the team. Regardless, our team pulled through and with only 9 players,  battled it out against Westwood. The game ended in a loss but with a brand new outfield and most everyone playing new positions, we played very competitively. Corona will not shake our Lady Indians! #TRIBESTRONG

This is our record up to this point -

W: Webster 14-2, Miller 12-0, Mitchell 16-0

T: Deerfield 10-10

L: Berrien 12-0, Thomasville 10-1, Charlton 9-1, Baconton 11-6, Westwood 9-1
